I’ve had a blog since 1997, when they were called “online journals” and everyone was all “yay interwebs!” But now those of us who started all that are old, and bitter,  and jaded, and it’s just a blog. About secret girl stuff. Which is something I liked to say a long time ago.

This is…  the 5th incarnation of it or something. I must still have something to say. I moved from a hand-coded html blog on my site, to a php one, then to blogger, then Typepad, and now back to my own site.

On Typepad, my blog was called “I am running out of lifetimes,” which was, you know, deep and stuff. This one is about much more than running, but still mostly about running, because I am a nerd, and because I can’t talk about work too much, although I do love my job.

Other things I like: cycling, knitting, art, books, cooking, working on my house. I have a dog named Bo who is a lab/hound mix and weighs about 100 lbs. I live in Boston. I’m a senior user experience designer for Rue La La. And I have amazing friends who inspire and challenge me.
