And 6 on Sunday makes 15.
Well, there you go – a 15-mile week. Freaking finally.
Here’s how it went down.
On Tuesday morning, I got up early, which is new for me, and ran 3 miles before work. Then, I ran another 3 on Wednesday. Thursday I didn’t do crap, and Friday I worked at home. I had a shitty 3 mile run on Saturday morning, followed by an amazing 6+ mile run on Sunday.
And now my knee hurts, but only because I sat with my legs tucked up in a weird way last night.
Anyway, I’m doing core & some yoga tonight, and will run again tomorrow. I’m just hoping to keep the momentum going is all. Luckily, the weather is still holding out and my motivation is pretty high right now. I’m thinking that I may opt for the May half instead of the March one, because a few friends are thinking about coming up for that, but I haven’t decided for sure.
In other news, I leave for Ohio on Thursday, and you can be sure my running gear is coming with me. Woot!

So this is how much of a dork I am. I work in hi-tech, building Flex-based interfaces and using Flash, and all sorts of things. Yet, I never added an RSS feed link on my blog. What the hell? Anyway, it’s there now, at right, just below the calendar. Duh.
And speaking of work, I’m busy there, but things are settling out, and I’m doing okay.
But the big news is that I am getting that itchy, wanting-t0-train-for-something feeling. I’ll be 35 next spring, and have my eye on a half for either March 18th, or late May. My goal would just be to finish, but I really think I can do it. I dunno. I’ve just been feeling really confident lately, even though my running is still the usual slow, plodding I’ve been doing all along… but more consistently, and with more pleasure.
So.
Thoughts? Am I crazy? More than usual, I mean.

Okay, so, have we not had the best fall/early winter in New England ever? For running, I mean. Seriously, it was in the mid-40s on Saturday, 50s on Sunday, and I banged out 9 miles between the two days. Nine, wonderful miles, through cemetaries, around ponds, and up and down hills. Wow. Just fantastic.
I’m just hoping the snow (the ice, mostly. Snow is not too bad in itself) holds off for a while longer. Just a little. :)
